In partnership with YouTube and VICE, Salli Frattini and Sunset Lane Entertainment produced the first YouTube Music Awards. They were held on Nov. 3 at Pier 36 on the Lower East Side and streamed live on YouTube.com. Created by YouTube and Spike Jonze. Hosted by Jason Schwartzman and Reggie Watts. Performers included Eminem, Lady Gaga, M.I.A., Arcade Fire, and Lindsey Stirling, who created "live music videos" on stage, in collaboration with talented music video directors.
